Q&A with Andover Central’s Jace Adler – Athlete Spotlight – Presented by WSU Tech

VYPE got to sit down with Andover Central athlete Jace Adler and find out more about
who he is.

VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My personal goals for this year are to achieve 1st Team All-League and to get an All-State honor.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I had during football season was the games.  I love the atmosphere on Friday nights and making big plays. Outside of football, I have fun hanging out with my four older brothers and my friends.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My fourth grade teacher was Mrs. Miller. She played basketball at K-State and understood how much I liked sports.  She still talks to me now and cheers for me.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory is a tie between two: My pick 6 against Buhler in my first varsity game, and going 13-0 in 5th grade football when my dad coached.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Dawson Rodd has had a big impression on me because we were some of the only sophomores that played a lot of varsity.  He helped me handle the pressure and carry myself with confidence without being cocky.  And then Collin Sheeran helped me learn the plays faster and to read the offense more effectively.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part is having coaches that really care about the little things and are always checking up on us. Plus they make sure the team meals are awesome!
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who
do you take with you?

We are beach people so I’d take my entire family with me to Gulf Shores Alabama.
VYPE: If we gave you $1,000 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what
would you spend it on?

I’d buy something for my brother Luc, like Legos, and then my Mom and Dad, and then splurge on something for myself.

VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
I help with service projects connected to football.
