Landon Kitterman, a football and track athlete at Andover Central High School, has gotten to celebrate the numerous wins that Central has brought home, but he knows the work doesn’t stop now.
A big goal Kitterman has for himself and his team is a goal that every athlete hopes to achieve, and it’s one that won’t be easy to get.
“One of my goals is to make a deep playoff run with my team,” Kitterman said.
Buhler, one of the tougher teams in 4A, came in ready to fight. Knowing that the opening game was going to be a tough one, the Jaguars and Kitterman both knew they could pull out a win. For Kitterman, it became one of the best moments of the season.
“Winning our opening game against the Buhler Crusaders was fun,” Kitterman said.
Kitterman has aspirations to continue his athletic track and field career at the next level after high school, and has hopes of success no matter where he goes.
“My future plans are to run track in college,” Kitterman said.
